try on something tribal

After the western inspired bolos I featured in Friday's post, it felt extra appropriate to shine some spotlight on these tribal-themed accessories for this one. (Who doesn't love a good game of cowboys + indians?) Here are some amazing add-on's featuring eye-catching patterns I'm lusting after for the spring... if I can wait that long to wear them.

These Kimchi Blue mules are the kind of accessory that make people look twice. They make people ask "where did you get those shoes?" Basically, they make the outfit - and  for less than $60, they will definitely be making mine all season.

I'm so into the color scheme of this scarf - the bright orange and teal against the neutral beige background just works. Add in the fringed tassels + the price tag (under $10!) and I can't think of a reason I don't already have it.

Sick of getting lost in a sea of mac books at the library? Need a conversation starter to break the ice with that cute guy always working next to you at Starbucks? Or maybe you just love little details that make everything cuter + more fun? ...(I'm with you there)... No matter the situation, this Navajo-inspired laptop decal by three thirty six (which, by the way, comes in 18 colors) is definitely the answer. Period.

I'm loving these leather + suede combo fold-over pouches handmade by Corium. They're the perfect organizers for sprucing up your home or office space, and adorable as clutches for a daytime date or casual evening out. Plus the unexpected mix of materials + textures - earthy linen or canvas with a rich leather or suede - bring a lovely element of surprise. The tribal print is kind of like the cherry on top.

Sarah Havens from Zebber Collective hand paints amazing designs (like this tribal print) onto fake nails that are easy to put on, but hard to take your eyes off.  They arrive in a set of 24, including 12 different sizes to ensure you find ten that fit you perfectly.  If you're feeling especially artsy, check out this tutorial she created for this popular design in order to teach you how to DIY.  And check out her blog to find out how you can make a custom order.  Yes, she will make whatever design you can dream up - although I think these are far better than any I could imagine.

If you're a daring dresser or just loving the look so much you want to go all-out, then look no further:

Latvian graphic designer turned clothing designer Alyona is the mastermind behind Qoo Qoo, a ready-to-wear fashion label that features these amazing patterns on everything from body con dresses to boots, bags + more. I can't think of a better way to add some excitement to an everyday outfit... but if the full on dress is too much tribal, try these tights or knee-high socks under a simple, monotone look - or grab this printed bag for a serious punch of prowess you can simply put down when it gets too much.

Whether you start with the scarf or go right for the dress, I know you'll love the vibe  these prints will bring to your warm weather wardrobe as soon as you put them on.  Just don't wear them all together.

These tribal prints are fabulous. My mom just gave me an old poncho given to her from my dad back in 1981 and he bought it at the Grand Canyon. You can imagine how sweet it is and such a great memory!
